A pound of butter and lies

Good stories about married life, good stories about meaningful life, good stories about sad life, good stories and meaning in life,

Once upon a time, there was a farmer who used to sell butter to a baker. One day, the baker decided to re-weigh the butter he was buying to check if the farmer was selling exactly the amount of butter he requested. He discovered the avocado volume was not as agreed in reality and sued the farmer in court. The judge asked the farmer how he used to weigh the volume of avocados sold. The farmer replied, "Sir, I don't have any precise measuring device, but I have something to know the weight of butter. "So how did you weigh the butter?" "Sir, before the baker buys my butter, I'm buying a pound of his bread. Every day, when the baker brings bread, I put it on the scale and give it back to him. butter is the same weight as bread. If anyone cheats, it's the baker." Lesson: You get back what you give. Lies will be repaid with lies many times over.
